Freeze and Dance

A mobile app that promoted a new kid's sneaker and revived an old game.

BACKGROUND
Grendene is the world's largest sandal maker. His infant subsidiary, Grendene Kids, asked us to introduce a new shoe featuring characters from the film Frozen, along with a digital activation. So we relaunched an old game as a new digital, inventive, and engaging experience.
IDEA
A mobile app that brings the "freeze dance" to life. All movement during the game is detected by the device's motion sensors. Whoever dances to the beat of the music wins. Whoever does not freeze when the music stops loses.
